MARIE-ANGE DAUDÉ
Marie-Ange Daudé’s “feather paintings” pay homage to femininity.
Concerned about the environment, Marie-Ange Daudé has been creating since 2012 from natural objects or materials that she recycles in her works. The feather, delicate, light, airy, subtly evokes the softness of women, but also their vulnerability. The vaporous and crystalline aspect of the feather is enhanced by the composition: these are attached to almost invisible nylon threads which give the impression that the portrait is levitating.
The game of black and white arouses nostalgia. Marie-Ange Daudé is also inspired by many old photos to create these portraits.
