ELENA MOLINARI

Uruguayan artist Elena Molinari, renowned for her hyperrealistic approach, was born in Montevideo. However, since 1996, she has worked as a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Madrid.

Molinari, whose primary medium is oil on canvas, often draws inspiration from old masters such as Pieter Claesz and Christoffel Van Den Berghe. She is widely acclaimed for her hyperrealistic still-life paintings, particularly her depictions of vases and fruit bowls. Additionally, she is recognized for her highly detailed and polished works featuring crumpled Coca-Cola cans.

With exhibitions held in Italy, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, China, Colombia, Chile, the United States, Bolivia, Argentina, and Uruguay, Molinari has achieved significant success both in Spain and internationally.
